In the School Holidays me and my cousins ( The Grandchildren) went to the Zoo to see lots of different and exciting animals. There was seven of us all up that was going to the zoo. First we went to the Australian birds. we saw lots of animals especially Australian birds. the first thing we saw was emus a fun fact about emus is that emus are the second biggest bird of the planet.
Then we went to see some more birds like parrots. There was so many parrots and birds. There was this one bird that I was so curious about. suddenly 2 zoo keepers came out of nowhere and told us what the birds are called. The bird that I was so curious about was called a Red tailed black cockatoo. Suddenly the red tailed black cockatoo then started to go all crazy and started flying everywhere. while me and my cousins started screaming and laughing while other people looked at us.
Next we went to the New Zealand part of the zoo. we also saw lost's of birds in the NZ part of the zoo. there where so much birds. such as, Brown Kiwi's, Kea, Tui, Takahe and much much more.
Finally we where almost at the end. when we where about to see the lions they were not there. Then my cousin made it all better by telling us a joke. he said '' it's sad what happened to the lions aye. Ska (from the lion king) pushed them off of the cliff. Then we started laughing so hard we almost started crying.
My favourite animals had to be the little monkeys. The reason why I chose the little monkeys is because they had so much entertainment and energy in them, they where so funny. The animal that was so cool from that day had to be the tortes because they where huge and was so inspiring for how long they could live. Then we went to get Mac Donalds for dinner.
